Lockdown alert: After watching Atlanta score 50 points and shoot 52.5 percent from the field in the first half, the Bulls got serious about defense. The Hawks added just 26 points after halftime, 10 in the third quarter, as the Bulls rolled to another easy win.

No place like home: This was the Bulls’ 10th straight home victory, their longest streak since 1998. Derrick Rose didn’t shoot well (9-for-24) but got to the foul line 15 times and scored 34 points.

Passing the boards: Even with Carlos Boozer out, the Bulls piled up a 50-28 rebounding edge. Veteran Kurt Thomas grabbed 13 in his first game action since Feb. 23 while Joakim Noah had 11.
