‘X Factor’ auditions set for Sears Centre
Simon Cowell might not be on “American Idol” anymore, but the tough-talking Brit will be back soon on Fox with an American version of his hit U.K. singing competition “The X Factor.”
Local auditions are scheduled for Wednesday, April 27, at the Sears Centre Arena, 5333 Prairie Stone Parkway, Hoffman Estates.
Registration is required, and it begins at 6 a.m. Tuesday, April 26.
Hoffman Estates is the only audition site in the Midwest, with others in the Dallas, Los Angeles, Miami, New York City and Seattle areas.
Unlike on “Idol,” “X Factor” contestants can be as young as 12.
