Carmel shoe drive ends March 18

Carmel Catholic High School’s Environmental Conservation Society, with support from the Solid Waste Agency of Lake County, is collecting used athletic shoes as part of Nike’s ReUse A Shoe program. The collection will run through Friday, March 18. Athletic shoes in any condition, even single shoes, may be dropped off at Carmel’s main entrance off Route 176 in Mundelein. Shoes with cleats cannot be accepted.
