Chicago police: $93,000 worth of cocaine seized

Chicago police say officers have seized $93,000 worth of cocaine and $30,000 in cash during a drug sting investigation.

Police say 36-year-old Jason Hinton of Chicago is charged in connection with the bust

Police say officers were conducting surveillance in a community known for high drug and gang activity when they got a tip about an upcoming drug delivery.

A vehicle matching the one in the tip pulled up and was pulled over. Police say Hinton was driving.

Officers say they found the cocaine and cash inside the vehicle.

It wasn't immediately clear whether Hinton has an attorney.
