Update: Since Derrick Rose’s arrival, the Bulls are 5-0 against the Hornets, including a 97-88 win at New Orleans on Feb. 12. Rose scored 23 points that night, while the Hornets’ top scorer was guard Marcus Thornton, who has since been traded to Sacramento for power forward Carl Landry. PF David West leads New Orleans at 18.8 points, while PG Chris Paul averages 15.9 points and 9.6 assists. SF Trevor Ariza missed the most recent game with a muscle strain. Heading into Sunday’s contest in Cleveland, the Hornets had lost 12 of their last 17 games.
