For Huntley Village Board: Kadakia, Kanakaris, Leopold

A race with twice as many candidates as available seats is often a sign of discontent in the community. Huntley appears to be the exception. There is little dispute among the six candidates for three village board that the town is moving in the right direction. When even challengers find no fault with how the incumbents are serving, we find little reason to argue. Incumbents Jayant Kadakia, Niko Kanakaris and Harry Leopold earn our endorsement for their work shepherding the village through tough economic times. Challengers Rosa DeMaertelaere, Nick Hanson and J.R. Westberg are all impressive in their own right and should continue to find ways to serve the village.
