Inventors make their pitch in Rosemont

At-home inventors from across the country will attend TeleBrands Inventors Day — an open casting call for those with the dream of creating the next “must have” infomercial product — Wednesday at the Allstate Arena in Rosemont.

The event is described as a cross between “American Idol” and “The Apprentice,” with each inventor getting only five minutes to pitch their ideas to TeleBrands CEO AJ Khubani, Chicago Wolves President Mike Gordon and a panel of judges.

It will be held starting at 9 a.m. in the Skyline Room of the arena, 6920 Mannheim Road.
