None hurt in Route 53 rollover

No one was hurt after a car rolled over on Route 53 Saturday afternoon, Palatine fire officials said.

At 2:20 p.m. Palatine and Arlington Heights firefighters were called after a car driving in the north rolled over and ended up near Wilke Road in Palatine, Palatine Fire Battalion Chief William Gabrenya said.

The driver was not injured and said that another motorist cut him off, causing his car to roll over, Gabrenya said.

Only one car was involved in the accident.

Roads had been slick all day due to snow in the area.
