Scouting York vs. De La Salle

No. 8 York (20-8) vs. No. 1 De La Salle (21-2)

When: 7:30 p.m. Friday.

Outlook: Winners in 14 of their last 16 games, the Dukes come into the regional final with a ton of momentum. Even with all-time leading scorer Will Sullivan, though, the Dukes need a tremendous team effort to upset the state-ranked Meteors. The continued strong play of sophomore point guard David Cohn, who scored 24 points in the semifinals, and perimeter threat Cody Kliethermes, who hit four 3-pointers, is a must. De La Salle counters with a big, talented lineup headed by Illinois-bound 6-foot-8 forward Mike Shaw. Six-seven sophomore Alex Foster scored 13 points in a 78-38 semifinal rout of Lane.
