Outlook: If the Hornets win their first regional title since 1999, they'll definitely earn it. They're faced with the defending 4A champions, a team that was No. 1 in the state until losses to Whitney Young and Benet late in the regular season. Hinsdale South needs another big game from juniors Phil George, who scored a game-high 22 points in Wednesday's 76-55 win over Marist, and 6-foot-8 Brock Benson. A consistent double-double performer, Benson needs to avoid foul trouble against the athletic Wolverines. Keeping Simeon from dominating the offensive glass especially standout sophomore Jabari Parker is critical.
