Aurora Christian (14-16) vs. Chicago Uplift (12-15)

Outlook: Seeking its first sectional title since 2000, Aurora Christian is on a roll, having scored at least 65 points in seven of its last eight games. Against Providence-St. Mel in the sectional semifinal the Eagles forced the tempo to win 75-70 behind point guard Dean Danos’ 21 points, double figures from Ryan McQuade, Nick Marema and C.J. Schutt, ten 3-pointers and 21-of-32 free-throw shooting. The Lisle regional champions have clogged the lane with the 6-foot-5 Schutt in the middle of a 2-3 zone. Rebounding and handling pressure are key against Luther North regional champ Uplift, which beat Francis Parker 64-52 in its semi. The Titans’ 6-5 Devonte Smith averages 16 points, 12 rebounds and 6-4 Jerrard Davis 13 points, 7 boards.
