Elgin roundabout makes no sense
Are the plans still on for some roundabout at the corner of Dundee Avenue and Summit Street in Elgin that is not wanted or needed?
The state and city governments have no money. This project is very costly and would surely add to the dangers at that corner as property is taken from the Standard station, CVS, etc., to exit onto it.
What happens if a truck stalls and fire trucks need to get to the west side or downtown fast or police to the far west side or those going straight?
These concerns don’t stop politicians from doing projects at our expense as too few people are fighting back any more.
