Rolling Meadows man found dead in home

The Rolling Meadows Police Department is investigating the death of a man found in his home early Tuesday morning, according to authorities.

Fidel Bahena, 36, of Rolling Meadows, was found lifeless and pronounced dead inside his home at 5:48 a.m., according to the Cook County medical examiner’s office.

A medical examiner’s spokesman said the death appeared to be a homicide.

The Rolling Meadows Police Department acknowledged that it was conducting a death investigation, but declined to comment on any further details.

Police and medical examiner’s officials said details will be available this morning.
