Village observes 'Local Government Week' March 7-11

The Village of Lombard will be observing “Local Government Week March 7-11, 2011 with several opportunities for residents to learn more about how local government works.

Village President William Mueller will host a “Coffee With the Mayor” session on March 9 from 1-3 p.m. at the village hall. Interested residents will have the opportunity to meet and speak with Mueller about any questions or concerns they may have.

Immediately after the coffee session, residents are invited to be a part of the studio audience in the Village Hall Board Room where they can watch a taping of Mueller's “Open Mike” show, his interview show which is broadcast on Comcast Channel 6 and AT&T Channel 99. Mueller's topic that day will be “local government” where he and guests will discuss its importance. Taping is scheduled to begin at 3 p.m.
