District 304 ready to enroll all incoming kindergartners

Geneva Unit District 304 is looking for all incoming kindergarten students.

A districtwide kindergarten enrollment for the 2011-12 school year will be held Tuesday, March 1. Enrollment will take place at each of the district's elementary schools from 4 to 7 p.m.

The schools are: Fabyan Elementary School, 0S350 Grengs Lane, (630) 444-8600; Harrison Street Elementary School, 201 N. Harrison St., (630) 463-3300; Heartland Elementary School, 3300 Heartland Drive, (630) 463-3200; Mill Creek Elementary School, 0N900 Brundige Drive, (630) 463-3400; Western Avenue Elementary School, 1500 S. Western Ave., (630) 463-3500; and Williamsburg Elementary School, 1812 Williamsburg Ave., (630) 463-3100.

Children entering kindergarten must be 5 years old by Sept. 1, 2011.

Documents needed for enrollment are:

• Your child's original birth certificate or a certified copy, which will be copied and returned to you that evening

• Two documents confirming residency in Geneva; must be property tax bill, recent utility bill showing address, document from closing or rental lease, free of contingencies

• Parent or guardian's photo I.D. (driver's license, visa, passport) for identification purposes only

Contact the Central Administration Offices at 227 N. Fourth St., (630) 463-3000 after March 1 if you have a child entering kindergarten for the 2011-12 school year and were unable to attend the districtwide kindergarten enrollment.
