We can do better than Obamacare

Now that we have got our weekly dose of pro Obamacare letters, I for one am all in favor of repealing this bill.

First of all, the bill was ruled unconstitutional by a federal judge. It is a job-killing bill filled with millions of job-killing taxes, filled with job-killing regulations, filled with business killing regulations and taxes. Computerized health records that may or may not be very private and as we have seen are likely to be used for fraudulent purposes.

The bill was copied in a large part to the Massachusetts health care bill that according to CNNMoney is a financial disaster as well as a medical disaster. Government-run programs are not the answer, not to health care, not to energy, not to much of anything other than making the roads safe and water flowing. This could not be more evident than it is now.

With trillion dollar debt, we simply can’t afford this bill. Republicans do not want people to die on the streets, they want what the majority of the public has demanded: lower-cost insurance and lower-cost health care.

This can be done without turning the entire health care industry on its head, or eventually putting health insurance companies out of business. We can do much better than this bill offers, keep our industries safe, and keep people employed. God forbid the government gets control of our health care.
