Chicago man accused of using skillet in killing
ST. LOUIS — A Chicago man is charged with first-degree murder for allegedly killing a St. Louis man with an iron skillet more than five years ago.
The St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports that 26-year-old Andre McAfee is accused in the Jan. 19, 2006, death of Charles Barnes. Court documents indicate that McAfee hit Barnes in the head and body several times at a home in St. Louis, and that McAfee's DNA was found on the handle of the blood-covered skillet found next to Barnes' body.
McAfee is jailed and does not yet have an attorney.
