Ethanol use is inefficient, immoral
With the Iowa primary on the way; the politicians of both parties will be pandering to the people of Iowa. Al Gore have recently released a statement that he and other environmentalists have made a bad mistake with endorsing corn ethanol. He, like most of us, sees that corn ethanol raises the cost of corn, hence all grains, leading to insatiability in Egypt, food riots and hoarding in the undeveloped world.
Ethanol not only raises the cost of food. It gets 2 miles per gallon less than all gasoline blends. In Indiana gas prices are 20 cents cheaper compared with the president’s home state that requires 10 percent ethanol per gallon of gas.
It is time that we hear from the churches, mosques and temples that it is sinful to burn corn (food) in gas tanks and create starvation riots in the Third World.
