Des Plaines mayor joins Wisconsin union protesters

Des Plaines Mayor Marty Moylan, a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers 134, recently visited Madison to “show support for his fellow union brothers and sisters and collective bargaining rights,” according to a news release.

Moylan said roughly 70,000 people attended the gathering at the Wisconsin State Capitol following efforts to eliminate specific union rights and benefits.
