Conservation group seeks help for Feb. 26 workday

Citizens for Conservation, an all-volunteer organization which has led the initiative to protect over 3,000 acres of land in the Barrington area, marks its 40th anniversary this year

CFC, which currently manages and restores over 300 acres, is asking for volunteers to help in its efforts to remove nonnative woody brush. Weather providing, CFC works every Saturday from 9-11 a.m.

Two special days are approaching during which CFC hopes to hit its first 100-volunteer workdays: 9 a.m.-noon Saturday, Feb. 26, and 1-4 p.m. Sunday, March 20. Join CFC’s restoration efforts and help bring back local biodiversity. Dress for the weather.
