Add some wine with your dine at a five-course dinner co-hosted by Parkview Gourmet and 545 North Bar & Grill at 6 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 27. Dinner includes rock shrimp dumplings, Belgian endive salad, grilled quail, herb rubbed hanger steak and spiced pear tart. Each course is paired with Sonoma County's Goldschmidt Vineyards boutique wines.

Red carpet celebration

Morton's The Steakhouse is rolling out the red carpet for an Oscars viewing party beginning at 6:30 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 27, in Rosemont. For $75 per person, guests can dine off a buffet dinner of tenderloin medallions al forno and chicken Christopher, salads, sides and desserts. Spirits like Prediction Punch, Motion Picture Mojitos and Award-Winning Wines are also included in the price. The price also features a swag bag of goodies. The person who guesses the most winners takes home a prize.

Free cakes at IHOP

In honor of National Pancake Day, IHOP is offering each guest a free short stack of buttermilk pancakes from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. Tuesday, March 1, in exchange for a small donation to the Children's Miracle Network Hospitals or other local charities.
