So what if they sleep in office?
Action by Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington to force congressmen from sleeping in their offices has me scratching my bald head.
Surely it is, if nothing else, a tiny example of how insidious the tax code can be twisted for “social engineering.” On the surface, CREW’s action also seems to be outside its own statement of purpose to “target” — verbiage from their website — government officials “who sacrifice the common good to special interests.”
Doesn’t this organization have bigger fish to fry?
