Health care law puts Americans first

I live in a mostly senior citizen community. We all are relying on fixed incomes from Social Security, investment income and some part-time work. The cost of living for everything including increases in taxes far exceeds our incoming monies year after year.

In a country where you work from the time you are 16 to 70 years of age, paying all you owe to everyone completely and on time, it is so hard to worry that maybe next year you won’t have enough to make it. This should not be. Sometimes I feel we take on cares of the world — and we are the lucky ones. Others don’t make it and are homeless or in dire poverty.

Please let’s truly put Americans first. Our president has done just that with the Affordable Care Act. Please support this and be on the side of Americans.
