Enjoy the Grammys? Catch winners at local concerts

The Grammy Awards may be over, but you can catch several of the big winners — including Arcade Fire and Lady Gaga — locally when they perform in Chicago or the suburbs.

Here's who is coming when:

• Comedian Lewis Black shouldn't be able to complain about his Grammy win for Best Comedy Album, but don't hold it against him when he appears at 8 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 20, at Elgin Community College's Blizzard Theatre in Elgin. Tickets are $47-$55. (847) 622-0300

• Guitarist Jeff Beck was a Grammy winner for Best Pop Instrumental Performance and Best Rock Instrumental Performance. • The Chicago Symphony Orchestra won Grammy Awards this year for Best Classical Album and Best Choral Performance for a Ricardo Muti-led recording of Verdi's Requiem. The CSO and Muti are to reunite this season (health permitting) for concert performances of Verdi's grand opera “Otello” at 8 p.m. Thursday and Saturday April 7 and 9, and at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 12, at Orchestra Hall in Chicago. • Usher took home Grammy Awards for Best Male R&B Vocal Performance and Best Contemporary R&B Album. He is set to perform at the Allstate Arena in Rosemont on Friday, May 20. Tickets are not on sale at this time.

• John Legend teamed up with The Roots for Grammy wins for Best R&B Song and R&B Album. Legend appears as the opening for Sade (herself a Grammy winner this year) at the United Center in Chicago at 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday, Aug. 5 and 6. Tickets are $49.50-$149.50. (800) 745-3000.
