Enjoy the Grammys? Catch winners at local concerts

The Grammy Awards may be over, but you can catch several of the big winners — including Arcade Fire and Lady Gaga — locally when they perform in Chicago or the suburbs.

Here's who is coming when:

• Comedian Lewis Black shouldn't be able to complain about his Grammy win for Best Comedy Album, but don't hold it against him when he appears at 8 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 20, at Elgin Community College's Blizzard Theatre in Elgin. Tickets are $47-$55. (847) 622-0300

Lady Gaga, winner of Best Pop Vocal Album, Best Female Pop Vocal Performance and Best Short Form Music Video, brings her Monster Ball Tour to the United Center in Chicago, at 8 p.m. Monday, Feb. 28. Tickets are $49.50-$175. (800) 745-3000.

• Chicago native Mavis Staples won a Grammy for Best Americana Album. Catch her at 8 p.m. Saturday, March 12, at the North Shore Center for the Performing Arts in Skokie. Tickets are $50-$60. (847) 673-6300.

• Chicago mainstay Buddy Guy picked up a Grammy for Best Contemporary Blues Album. Catch Guy with Jimmie Vaughan at 8 p.m. Saturday, March 26, at the Rialto Square Theatre in Joliet. Tickets are $37.50-$85. Call (815) 726-6600.

• Guitarist Jeff Beck was a Grammy winner for Best Pop Instrumental Performance and Best Rock Instrumental Performance. Beck teams up with the Imelda May Band for tribute concerts to Les Paul at 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday, April 1 and 2, at the Cadillac Palace Theatre in Chicago. Tickets are $45-$75. (800) 775-2000.

• Brother and sister duo Bebe & Cece Winans won Grammy Awards for Best Contemporary R&B Gospel Album and Best Gospel Performance. The Winans perform in concert at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, April 2, at the Chicago Theatre. Tickets are $39.50-$69.50. (312) 462-6300.

• The Chicago Symphony Orchestra won Grammy Awards this year for Best Classical Album and Best Choral Performance for a Ricardo Muti-led recording of Verdi's Requiem. The CSO and Muti are to reunite this season (health permitting) for concert performances of Verdi's grand opera “Otello” at 8 p.m. Thursday and Saturday April 7 and 9, and at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 12, at Orchestra Hall in Chicago. • Album of the Year winner Arcade Fire performs on the same bill with The National at UIC Pavilion in Chicago, at 7:30 p.m. April 22, 24 and 25. Tickets are $51. (800) 745-3000.

Usher took home Grammy Awards for Best Male R&B Vocal Performance and Best Contemporary R&B Album. He is set to perform at the Allstate Arena in Rosemont on Friday, May 20. Tickets are not on sale at this time.

John Legend teamed up with The Roots for Grammy wins for Best R&B Song and R&B Album. Legend appears as the opening for Sade (herself a Grammy winner this year) at the United Center in Chicago at 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday, Aug. 5 and 6. Tickets are $49.50-$149.50. (800) 745-3000.

• Best Male Country Vocal Performance winner Keith Urban performs on the same bill as Jake Owen at the Allstate Arena in Rosemont, at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 14. Tickets are $25-$59.50. (800) 745-3000.
