Props to Batavia plow drivers

After 20 inches of snow, the City of Batavia got us going again on Feb. 2 amazingly quickly. We live on a side street and we were plowed out early. The plow driver courteously didn’t pack the end of our driveway. The driver took a little extra time to move the snow to the far side.

By 9 a.m. and after clearing our own driveway, I was able to drive around the corner to a neighbor. She was concerned about her furnace and I was able to get to her home and back to ours with no difficulty. By 10 a.m. I was able to drive to and from the hardware store for a part to get our snowblower running again.
