Intersections need wider plowing

I’ve noticed that the plowing has left many locations that suddenly lose a lane. This is easy to understand since the plow drivers aren’t familiar with the road.

However, it seems this happens most frequently right at an intersection. This is most unfortunate since the intersections need to be the widest point of the road in order to handle the traffic efficiently.

A reduced intersection after a wide road causes more traffic congestion than a narrow road with a wide intersection. Perhaps the transportation departments that hire the plows should tell the drivers to give extra widening effort to the intersections.
