Hanover Park police plan Neighborhood Watch kickoff meeting

The Hanover Park Police Department will hold its annual Neighborhood Watch kickoff meeting for 2011 at Village Hall, 2121 West Lake Street, at 7 p.m. February 23.

Residents are invited to attend to learn how the program works and what is required of participants. Police encourage residents to get involved and to get to know their neighbors in the process.

During this meeting safety tips will be presented to assist residents in keeping themselves from becoming victims of crimes, as well as how to help their neighbors do the same.
