Play bags, Bunco for charity

Submitted by Association for Individual Development

The Association for Individual Development will conduct a Bean Bag Bonanza and Bunco Bash charity fundraiser Saturday, Feb. 26. All proceeds from the event will go toward programs and services benefiting children and adults with disabilities in our communities.

Commonly played in backyards and beer gardens, bean bags is a competitive team sport played for pride and bragging rights. On Saturday, Feb. 26 the public is invited to join in a round-robin style bean bags tournament. Winners have a shot at more than just bragging rights in this competition; prizes will be awarded to the top three teams at the end of the tournament with a grad prize of $200 in cash. To register, visit website at www.the-association.org. There is a $40 registration fee per team.

Not a fan of bean bags? Join a rousing game of Bunco. Simultaneously taking place along side the bean bags tournament, Bunco is an exciting dice game that is easy to learn and fun to play. Participants have the opportunity to win prizes throughout the game by rolling a Bunco or by finishing as one the top two players. There is a $10 entry fee for anyone interested in playing with all proceeds going toward programs and services benefiting children and adults with Disabilities at the Association for Individual Development.
