CDI to supply engineering help to Boeing
PHILADELPHIA — Staffing company CDI Corp. said Tuesday it will provide design help to aircraft maker Boeing Co. using Drexel University engineering students.
Financial terms of the 3-year agreement were not disclosed.
CDI said part of the agreement calls for the companies to work with Drexel students who will alternate between classroom study and full-time employment.
CDI said the design center would work on programs including the CH-47 military helicopter, the V-22 Osprey aircraft and the Boeing 787 transport jet. It said the design center would work on completing jobs such as structural designs and stress analysis.
