Pay attention to our energy resources
Did you know that there are coal mines in Illinois? Did you know that our president is keeping his campaign promise to “bankrupt the coal industry?” Mr. Nice Guy had the EPA revoke a permit granted to Arch Coal over four years ago. Arch complied with all rules and regulations and spent millions preparing the mine — too bad about 515 jobs were lost. Way to go Mr. President!
This goes along with no drilling in the Gulf of Mexico and the Arctic, revoking Utah permits, stalling nuclear plants and attacking natural gas companies. By the way we have oil, nuclear and natural gas in Illinois, too.
