Generosity made for Merry Christmas
It is heart warming to see that the citizens of the Tri-City area truly believed that Christmas was to be a time of sharing.
Because of their concern for others, The Salvation Army exceeded the goal of $350,000 through mail donations and red kettle collections, assisted by an army of volunteers who gave of their valuable time to help their needy neighbors.
These selfless acts made the Christmas season very special for many people. More than 5,000 individuals shared in gifts of food, toys, winter garments, special gifts and a warm hand of friendship. In addition, your generosity will ensure a growing pledge of service throughout the year.
While so many are concerned with making their own “ends meet,” every citizen of the Tri-City area has my deepest thanks and sincerest appreciation.
May God richly bless you.
