Both sides spew inflammatory words

Both sides spew inflammatory words

I have to give credit where credit is due. On Jan. 19, Elizabeth Hansen, like others on the left who are sanctimoniously blinded after the Arizona massacre, reached the pinnacle of hypocrisy when she lectured: “It is time for some personal responsibility, people. We need to look at the consequences of our own words and actions when we spread unfounded rumors and spew angry rhetoric that serves to inflame, not inform. Basic civility is becoming a dinosaur.”

But instead of being content with the crafty partisan spin she laid at the feet of the right, she then uncivilly bashed “people who righteously claim belief in God, the flag (and) the Constitution,” and then said: “The sheriff of Pima County, Ariz., called a spade a spade.”

Ms. Hansen, are you kidding me? You can’t be serious! Sheriff Dupnik, political opportunist, incessantly stoked this self-created firestorm for days with his utterly baseless incendiary indictment of the right in the immediate aftermath of a national tragedy. And to add insult to injury, Dupnik’s job, ironically, wasn’t to “spread unfounded rumors and spew angry rhetoric that serve(d) to inflame, (but to) inform.” Sound familiar?
