The skinny: The Flames search for a way to snap their 16-game road losing streak to Horizon League foes. UIC’s last such win came March 3, 2009, at Youngstown State. Senior guard Robo Kreps, who scored 15 points in that game, is the only player on UIC’s current roster who saw action in that game. Kreps piled up 25 points Thursday at Detroit to continue his run up UIC’s career-scoring charts. He’s at 1,458 points with at least eight games left in his career. Wright State, which won 71-63 at UIC on Jan. 6, sits 2 games behind Horizon leader Cleveland State with six games left. Senior guard Vaughn Duggins (16.2 ppg) is the league’s reigning player of the week.
