Plows provide escort in Lincolnshire
When Lincolnshire-Riverwoods Fire Protection District ambulance crews responded to calls overnight, snow plows were used to clear the way for the emergency vehicles, Chief David Gnatt said.
One call required a trip to Advocate Condell Medical Center in Libertyville, and the plow escorted the ambulance all the way to the hospital, Gnatt said.
Riverwoods Road was clear of snow Wednesday morning, but the side streets in Lincolnshire continued to be impassable, Gnatt said.
