Boating safety classes set
A series of boating safety classes has been scheduled over the next few months in both Arlington Heights and Johnsburg.
Each class requires attendance of two sessions a week apart. The classes with sessions of Feb. 26 and March 5, May 14 and 21, and June 11 and 18 will be held at West Marine, 63 W. Rand Road in Arlington Heights.
The class with sessions on March 12 and 19 will be held at Bald Knob Marine, 515 Bald Knob Road in Johnsburg.
Vessel safety checks may sometimes be available at the classes by appointment.
The classes cost $35 for an individual or $50 per family. For more information or to register, call Marlene at (630) 860-2975.
