Would you keep, eliminate or change them? How and why?I'm not sure what is and is not working in our community. I would really have to look at everything with an open mind. I would listen to all agrguments regarding the programs. If changing them would benift the community than, we would go ahead on that road. But if there just was not any public intrest than eliminating the program and moving the funding to something else might be best.Is there any additional open space the park district needs to acquire? Please describe.None that I am aware of.Are there any unmet recreational needs? If yes, what are they and how would you propose paying for them? Or, should they wait until the economy improves?I think we are moving in the right direction as far as the board is concerned. But I feel we are missing winter activities. The lake can be just as fun in the winter as the summer. For example Hockey,Ice skating, Ice fishing durby. As far as paying for them we would ask for volunteers. Or maybe there are some untapped sponsorship dollars out there for us to use. If that didn't work, than we would have to look at the cost verses the benifits.Would you support sharing/pooling resources (i.e. printing, vehicles) with other local governments (school districts, village, etc.)? If so, what areas would you consider combining or merging to save money or improve efficiency?I think we already do a great job teaming up with Warren Newport. If you are a newcomer, what prompted you to run for the park board? If you're an incumbent, list your accomplishments or key initiatives in which you played a leadership role.I love the community in which I live. My kids are enrolled, in many of the programs we offer. I enjoy how our community comes together, to complete goals. I love the way we all have fun at Rule House, either with the Fenderskrits, or movies in the park. I want to keep those programs going strong. While adding new community activities. I want our parks and our lake to remain beautiful. I want not only the adults to love where they live but the kids as well. Together we make our community a fun and enjoyable place to live.
