Where to call to get help in snowstorm
Below is contact list for utilities and some key service providers if your service goes down because of the nasty snowstorm.
타 ComEd: 1 (800) EDISON1. Customers may use that line to report a power outage or if they observe a dangerous situation such as a tree ready to fall on top of one of the utility’s lines.
타 Nicor Gas: 1 (888) 642-6748. Anyone detecting a gas odor is encouraged to report it. Nicor’s gas lines are buried, so severe weather typically doesn’t cause problems for the utility, a spokesman said.
타 Comcast Cable: 1 (800) COMCAST. The company is the dominant cable provider in the Chicago area.
타 AT&T: Report problems to 1 (877) 246-8464.
