It’s government that ‘fell down on the job’

President Obama says the U. S. “fell down on the job.”

Who fell? Not the nearly 10 percent who are unemployed and the additional nearly 10 percent of people who have given up looking for work.

With all due respect, Washington “fell down on the job” — both parties and the Administration.

Bailouts, Obamacare, earmarks, the list goes on and the deficit goes up.

I think it is scandalous to attempt to lay the blame for our current economic challenges on the American public — the same public who told their elected officials what they did and did not want and, until the midterm elections, were blithely ignored.
