The skinny: For the second time in 35 seasons, the nation’s No. 1 team shows up in Evanston. The Wildcats are 0-15 against the Associated Press’ top-ranked teams during the poll’s 62-year existence but hope to finish the job started by several other Big Ten teams this year. In the last seven games, Ohio State owns wins by 3, 3, 4, 5 and 5 points. The Bucks averaged 70.0 points in those games as opposed to 82.3 points in their other 16 games, so look for the Wildcats to eschew their recent uptempo leanings and start to milk the shot clock. OSU senior Jon Diebler recently passed former NU sharpshooter Craig Moore for fourth place on the Big Ten’s all-time 3-point list. He owns 322 3s for his career and is shooting 48 percent on 3s this season.
