The Glen Ellyn Food Pantry Thanks Community for Thanksgiving Program Success

The board of directors, staff, and volunteers of the Glen Ellyn Food Pantry wish to thank the community, on behalf of our clients, for your generous support of our Thanksgiving program. Our Thanksgiving program helped provide a plentiful Thanksgiving meal, including a turkey, for 450 families within the Glen Ellyn area. "We asked the community for help and they responded tremendously," said Susan Papierski, Executive Director of the Pantry. "Our Thanksgiving donations increased from last year and we want to let the community know that you gave a real blessing to your neighbors in need." The Pantry received donations from local businesses, schools, organizations, and individuals. The Glen Ellyn Food Pantry is a not-for-profit corporation that serves the Glen Ellyn community and is funded solely through donations and volunteer efforts.
