Three-story senior residential facility plan in Palatine delayed
The Palatine Plan Commission last week unanimously recommended a six-month extension for the developers of a three-story, 75-unit senior residential facility at the Mia’s Garden Nursery site on Quentin Road.
The extension was necessary because the preliminary planned development, approved a year ago by the village council, was due to expire at the end of the month. The council must still vote whether to grant the extension.
Operator CRL Services cited the poor real estate economy for the project’s delay, but said construction could begin this spring or summer.
