Rolling Meadows police hiring two part-time jobs
Rolling Meadows will replace its full-time records clerk with two part-time police assistants, the city council voted Tuesday. The position of records clerk will be eliminated in the wake of that person’s retirement, and instead the council will create a part-time records clerk job and a part-time community service officer job, both of whom will staff the police desk and both who will be classed as “police assistants.” Each will work between 25 and 29 hours a week and earn between $12- $15 an hour, documents indicate.
