Palatine Twp. hosts storybook drive
The Children's Home and Aid Community Child Care Center of Palatine Township, a not-for-profit day care facility, will wind up its storybook collection on Wednesday, Jan. 26. Due to a growing number of low-income children enrolled in its prekindergarten program, new books and educational games for children ages 2½ to 5 are needed. Donations are being accepted at the Palatine Township building, 721 S. Quentin Road, Palatine. For information, call the Children's Home development coordinator at (312) 424-6811.
