Skaggs posts double-double in West Aurora’s defeat

Liz Skaggs posted a double-double with 10 points and 15 rebounds, but host West Aurora came up short 58-49 to Naperville North in a DuPage Valley Conference contest.

Alexis Nelson paced the Blackhawks (5-15, 2-7 DVC) with 19 points and came up with 3 steals. Dazmine Chaney added 9 points and Royalle Brown grabbed 10 rebounds.

Shannon Bushman scored 17 points and Zoe Swift netted 10 for the Huskies (8-13, 5-4 DVC), who outscored West Aurora 15-4 in the fourth quarter.
