New Des Plaines car dealership offers jobs

Des Plaines Randhurst Kia, 855 Rand Road, will be hosting a job fair next week ahead of the dealership’s grand opening on Feb. 1.

The fair will be held from 2 to 8 p.m. Jan. 27; 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Jan. 28; and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Jan. 29. A variety of positions are available including sales, service and parts advisors, technician/mechanics and administrative/reception, said Mike Gors, Randhurst Kia general sales manager.

The dealership’s management hopes to initially fill roughly 15 to 20 positions locally.

“Being a brand new dealership, we decided to reach out to the local community,” Randhurst Kia owner Bill Barth said. “We are happy to be located in Des Plaines and are dedicated to building an ambitious, positive work force.”
