Get involved in protecting animals

It's difficult to pass Muddy Paws shelter in Deer Park knowing that countless innocent “rescued” animals from kill shelters met their fate in a cruel, horrific way with much fear and suffering through no fault of their own. They never got a chance to be adopted, to be a member of a family, a friend to a child.

One thing I know for sure: Tears alone will not help this situation or any other that involves cruelty to animals. What will help is speaking up for the animals. We can all be part of this in a simple way. Get on the Internet. Follow this case. Write briefly to the judge and prosecutor and tell them how you feel.

It's too late for the animals of Muddy Paws, but it's not too late to do what we can to make sure this never, ever happens again. Please join me.
