Homeless man found dead in Aurora trash bin

Aurora police are investigating the death of a 54-year-old homeless man who was found in a trash bin outside a retail store this afternoon.

The man, whose name is being withheld pending notification of family, was found inside a recycling bin just before 2 p.m. Tuesday afternoon on the 400 block of East New York Street by employees of a store on that block, according to police.

It is not known if foul play is involved, according to an Aurora Police Department news release. An autopsy will be scheduled with the Kane County coroner, according to police.
