Buffalo Grove Chamber installs 2011 leaders
Attorney Marc Blumenthal was installed Tuesday as the 2011 president of the Buffalo Grove Chamber of Commerce, and he’ll lead a new board of directors as well.
The new officers are: Executive Vice President Scott Fishkin of Scott Fishkin Insurance Services; Vice President Larry Wankovsky of Triple J Ventures; Secretary Jan Obrand of In Working Order; Treasurer David Weiner, of David Weiner & Associates, CPAs; Past President Dr. Eric Smith, of Smith Back & Neck Pain Center; and executive board directors Sid Rothenberg of SR Squared Computers and Dr. Gregg Stern of Stern Chiropractic.
The 2011 directors are Michael Abruzzini, of Buffalo Grove Bank & Trust; Les Klein, of LH Klein & Associates; Vicki Baker, Gifts of Distinction; Arnie Martin, Arnold Martin Music; Alan Burack, Advocate Lutheran General Hospital; Alan Schencker, attorney; Eric Zitron, Village Profile; Dan Dame, Dame Financial Services; and Richard J. Drazner, RH Drazner & Associates.
The village liaison is Ghida Neukirch, Buffalo Grove’s deputy village manager.
The 2010 Director of the Year award went to David Weiner, of David Weiner & Associates.
Member of the Year is Bruce Glickson, of GFS Marketplace.
Business of the Year is the Buffalo Grove Golf Club.
Ambassador of the Year is Dan Dame, financial planner.
