Your news: Mundelein resident welcomes the Christmas Ship

In early December, the USCG Mackinaw came in to Navy Pier with 1,254 Christmas Trees that were distributed to the needy. Coast Guard Auxiliary Waukegan Flotilla member Ron Aidikonis Sr. was on hand to work the event for the fifth year. Aidikonis’ son, Ron. Jr., brought Roman to the event to visit his grandfather and the Christmas Ship.

The Auxiliary, America#146;s Volunteer Guardians supports the Coast Guard in nearly all of it#146;s missions including recreational boating safety.
