The skinny: With his 31-point effort in Tuesday’s win at Eastern Michigan, senior swingman Xavier Silas moved to No. 4 in the national scoring race with 23.9 ppg. Silas also tied his career high by hitting six 3-pointers at EMU. He’s shooting 45 percent from beyond the arc. Toledo, which boasts five freshmen among its top seven scorers, is 0-8 away from home this season and hasn’t won on the road since March 9, 2008.
